Golf Club

In the “Golf Club” cycle of works, the main theme is the depletion and the fragmentation of habitats in which the life of different animal species develops. Each image brings forward situations in which animals specific for the three areas in question (Brazil, South Africa and U.S.A.) break into golf courses, these being located near the habitats in which you can encounter the three presented species: the giant anteater, the Grevy’s zebra and the striped skunk. It is a phenomenon that occurs frequently on the golf courses around the planet. The astonishment felt by the golf players due to these call-offs of the natural game rhythm, the apparent misplacement of the animals on the trimmed grass raises a question regarding the meaning of such overlapping: who are, actually, the real intruders?
